Elaboration of 1 (one) training manual and 1 (one) common integrated sustainable energy efficiency strategy at the level of the Ruse-Giurgiu cross-border region, financed under the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria 2014-2020 Programme

Activities:

1) Preparation of a study and analysis of the current situation regarding the implementation of Green Economy policies in the Ruse-Giurgiu region;

2) Assessment of the potential for the use of alternative energy from renewable sources in the Ruse-Giurgiu region;

3) Participation in 2 (two) round tables and 2 (two) seminars;

4) Carrying out a study on the need to train administrations (Ruse District, Tsenovo Municipality – Bulgaria, and Giurgiu County – Romania) on the application of Green Economy principles;

5) Preparation of an integrated strategy for sustainable energy efficiency at the level of the cross-border region Ruse-Giurgiu and development of a manual to the strategy;

6) Provision of qualified lecturers for participation in a six-day training course in the town of Veliko Tarnovo.
