Contracting Authority: Veliko Tarnovo Municipality, Veliko Tarnovo District

Activities: 1) Definition of milestones for project implementation; 2) Development of a monitoring plan with specific measures and responsible persons; 3) Preparation of expert financial opinions and analyses on documents and cases related to project implementation and financial reporting; 4) Monitoring and reporting on project cash flows by schedules/ payment methods set out in the Subsidy contract and contracts with contractors; 5) Verification of the implementation of information and publicity measures; 6) Preparing, organizing, and taking part in on-site inspections of the contractors of the works contracts; 7) Conducting regular meetings with the teams of the other selected project contractors; 8) Others.

Contracting Authority: Tsenovo Municipality, Ruse District

Activities: 1) Preparation of a study and analysis of the current situation regarding the implementation of Green Economy policies in the Ruse-Giurgiu region; 2) Assessment of the potential for the use of alternative energy from renewable sources in the Ruse-Giurgiu region; 3) Participation in 2 (two) round tables and 2 (two) seminars; 4) Carrying out a study on the need to train administrations (Ruse District, Tsenovo Municipality – Bulgaria, and Giurgiu County – Romania) on the application of Green Economy principles; 5) Preparation of an integrated strategy for sustainable energy efficiency at the level of the cross-border region Ruse-Giurgiu and development of a manual to the strategy; 6) Provision of qualified lecturers for participation in a six-day training course in the town of Veliko Tarnovo.

Activities: 1) Defining the general provisions and applicable regulations; 2) Preparation of a profile of Varna Municipality; 3) Defining the objective of the programme; 4) Determination of the potential and opportunities for the use of renewable energy and biofuels for Varna Municipality; 5) Selection of priorities and measures.
